Can I plan routes by area and by service type?
Yes. Routes can be built by area or by service type, so residential driveway runs and commercial salting runs stay separate even when they overlap geographically.
How does Plannit know a stop was completed?
GPS tracking in the mobile app automatically records every visit and address as the driver works the route. The office sees progress live, and the visit record is what your invoicing draws from later.
Can customers be told before we arrive?
Yes. Automated “en route” messages go out ahead of the truck, which is usually enough to get vehicles moved before the driver gets there.
How do seasonal contract renewals work?
You create quotes, work orders and seasonal contracts with your own payment terms, then send them out. Clients approve the contract and pay online through the Customer Portal, and everything syncs to your accounting system.
Do I need the paid plan for GPS and routing?
Routes and GPS are included from the Premium plan up. Scheduling, job tracking, quoting, invoicing and online payments are available on every plan, including the free one. Compare plans
